Germany plays in national colors

Future Sports becomes the outfitter for the women's national team.

As part of the German Japan Bowl, the women's national team provided the jerseys for the World Cup 2010 in Stockholm. Both the ladies and the gentlemen will be 2010 equipped by Future Sport and wear the same jerseys for Germany.

The new jerseys are black and set off with red cuffs on the neck and on the side. The sewn numbers are yellow and also set off with red. The national coat of arms with the eagle sits proudly on the chest as an eye-catcher. Germany is emblazoned in white letters on the back. Together with the red trousers and the well-known black helmet with the national coat of arms, it gives a strong one, respectful appearance.

“We are pleased to be able to work together with Future Sport in the women's national team. Future Sport has proven to be a reliable partner, ”says press spokesman Andreas Gebek happily. “The men's outfit was well received at the German Japan Bowl. This means that our women will also make a good appearance in Sweden. We know, that the look of the jersey cannot decide a game. Important is, that the quality and fit are right. It has to be tight. And that is given with the new jerseys from Future Sport. And if it also looks so good, all the better. Who feels good, also plays better. The national players Michelle Schaffner, Sonja Meurer, Diana Wallin and Silke Huskobla, who were allowed to present the jerseys, were in any case enthusiastic right away. "

At the same time as the jerseys, the women's national team also presented the players' numbers in Stockholm. A sign of that, that the world championship is getting closer and closer. From now on the fans can paint their cheering signs for the Zinkensdamm Stadium. You should already remember one number now: Suse Erdmann is with the number 21 play. So that we can hear as often as possible in June:
„Touchdown Germany Number 21“

Christiane Müller is there!

Good news for them 33 year old from Dresden.

Sometimes one phone call can ruin all plans. Christiane Müller is now experiencing this too. When her phone rang recently, she didn't know anything about it yet. At the other end of the line was the AFVD competitive sports director for women Christiane Langkamm from Berlin with good news.

Christiane Müller was named for the American Football Women's World Cup 2010 nominated in Stockholm. The motto for the summer is now 2010: Stockholm instead of a lake, World championship instead of free time. However, Christiane Müller was not completely unexpected. As a wide receiver, she has been on the list of replacements for the 45 squad since the national team's camp in April. She now benefits from Sharon Klitsch's rejection, who cannot be there at the World Cup.

“Of course I was really happy, when Christiane called me. Especially since, as a mom, who had taken a baby break in the past season, I didn't expect any great chances (and I'm no longer very young either ;)) But now I'm allowed to go to Sweden! “The pharmacist from Dresden is happy. She has already booked the vacation spot for her son with her grandparents and the duty rosters at work are still being adjusted.

“Fortunately, the subsequent nomination did not come too soon. I do not know, like me in just 2-3 Days. But this way I can slowly tune into Sweden and be a little proud. World Championship ... if only in the 2. Start-up, but i'm there!“

In the national team, Christiane Müller will meet four team-mates from the Dresden Diamonds, who also made it into the women's national team. From 25. June the team will meet in Strausberg near Berlin, to prepare for the World Cup.

Just under two months…

15.05.10

Autor: Suse Erdmann | Kategorie: General, Blog, Inside the Team

Just under two months, then the time has finally come for our girls and we're off to Sweden.

I have waited fourteen years for the opportunity and now it finally has hands and feet ...

After I had already toyed with the thought, to hang up my football boots, I'm glad I didn't do it. Because what is more beautiful than his country, at a world championship, in the sport one loves to represent.

After all the years in which we have "fought" each other, we now have the chance to play together for the first time and become the best women's football nation in the world.

There is a lot of speculation as to which place we will achieve and whether we can even make it into the top three in the world. Be it because of the inexperience of some coaches in women's football or the short time we have to prepare.

Of course it's difficult to found a team in one year, With 45 Players who also have to be the best in their positions, but I am confident and happy to be part of this team and I am excited to see if we can cause a surprise in the end. Even if not everything can work right away, when we all play with our hearts and keep ourselves mentally and physically fit, I think we'll rock Stockholm and definitely leave the pitch as winners, with or without a medal.

Facts about the team: doctor

Hollywood movies have liked to work with clichés. And if a young person is to be presented as something violent and not so clever, then often the role is used as a football player. And among the football players the position of the Defense Line player in this respect is the most negative occupied. Prejudices and stereotypes, where everyone likes to use. But as is often the reality is then another.

In the German Nationalmansnchaft plays on the Defense Line Sandra Lemmer from Munich. The 32-year-old is the counterexample. She has a PhD in German philology. For those who alone have to look for the name: German studies.

A big concern for Sandra is, dispel precisely this Voruteilen. She wants to show, that Football is a Kobination from smooth power and bowl, from Hau-plan and strategy, of power and technology, of strength and coordination. And preparing for a game not only inflaming music, but may be made in her case also meditative music a la Enya. And one or another quick prayer, that yes can also be helpful.

Coach Trabi’s Tips&Tricks: WR Start

WIDE RECEIVER STANCE & STARTS

Hello to all readers,

I hope you have taken the time and practiced the "WR Stance"?

Now we come to "Wide Receiver Start".

After we brought our stance in form and are ready to start, we need to know where to go at all.

There are different types of releases at the start, there would be the one of the classic straight ahead (Vertical-), directly ( Attack-), the inwardly (Seam-) and the outwardly (Burst Release).

Always the same Stance

Before starting you should you ever his shoulders parallel to the LOS set up so that no one can guess your running direction.

The first steps (First Steps)

The first step is to the back foot powerful and fast forward. The length of the step everyone can determine for themselves where my recommendation is a shorter step to find faster back ground. With the second, third and fourth steps which must also be set quickly it will expansive. A further point that must be noted is the posture. As with the stance of the body must be directed forward, a good example of the athletes are when they are started out of the blocks.

Vertical Release

Should you choose to use the "Vertical release" to run in your Pass route you should know, that her for a lot of speed needs. advantages: The defender must be at least. can build up as much speed so that it remains up to you to it, He do not know where you want to run and can imagine it only.

Attack Release

With this launch, you walk straight to the defender to going in which direction you are going to convey that he can not recognize your break him. advantages: As just mentioned, he can not see where you want to run or. whether you want to block it, He will open his hips too early and thus give you the opportunity to go in the other direction. disadvantage: Should you decide you too late for one direction and could therefore be too close in front of the defenders run up to her and so will your timing or. the route destroyed.

Seam und Burst Release

This is the inward (Seam) and around the outwardly (Burst) Start before your break in the direction of your current route goes to. advantages: The defender turns to early in the direction which you profess him right from the start. After he has opened, do you have with the break in your route more separation defender e.g.. Hitch (Burst Release) = DB opens outwards. Once he has turned you have your breakfast inside (for QB).

is the most important point of each time is a priority, that we always have to make the separation a defender and then the possibly. to catch next ball without disabilities. As was the Stance, Practice creates masters.

Technical Meeting in Stockholm

09.05.10

Autor: Christiane Langkamm | Kategorie: Blog, Inside the Team

Freitag, 7.

Only the United States has itself a hotel rented and now resides in the City.
